Filconn integrated banding platform connectors are leading the industry in cable harness improvement for both shielded and unshielded cables. Our IBP connectors reduce profiles by 60% and total weight by 40% of traditional multiple component configurations. This space and weight savings is very easily achieved by building our banding platform or saddle clamp into the body of the connector for a very simple and extremely functional one piece design.

This technology also allows for a drastic reduction in total part number count while at the same time providing the best possible EMI/RFI grounding available. Filconn was founded in 2003 by Rick Taylor and Jerry Hollis to design and manufacture filtered, EMP protected and specialty interconnect products for customers in the aerospace, military and medical markets.

Filter connectors protect black boxes and other shielded electronics from the damage that can be caused by frequencies outside their operating range, like EMI and RFI produced by lightning and electronic devices used by passengers on aircraft and other things.

FilConn offers several key technologies for use in military and aerospace connector applications. The most common of these is capacitive filtering created using special ceramic disks produced in England. The connectors are generally offered in three standard approaches, including the most common Pi-filter connectors, followed by C filter and L filter connectors. The connector bodies all must be conductive to allow roll off of any interference signals.

New Night Vision Compatible LED Indicators are MIL-L-85762A and MIL-STD-3009 Compliant and Feature Front and Rear Mounting with Panel Seal

St. Paul, MN—June 2, 2011—Wilbrecht LEDCO, Inc. introduces new Night Vision Imaging System (NVIS) compatible LEDs for its front mount CR/BR and rear mount CRM series panel LED indicators.

The rugged indicators are environmentally sealed to IP66, and they are ideal for a variety of military applications, including aircraft avionics systems, communications equipment and battlefield hardware. Used as a direct replacement for incandescent lamps, the LEDs ensure minimal heat dissipation and high reliability for critical aerospace applications.

Available in nickel plated or black matte housings, the Night Vision Imaging System indicators are compliant per MIL-L-85762A and MIL-STD-3009.  The NVIS compatible indicators are available in four NVIS LED color ranges: NVIS Green A, NVIS Green B, NVIS Yellow and NVIS Red.

Wilbrecht LEDCO, inc' metal foil resistors are constructed to reliably meet the tightest temperature coefficients and resistance tolerances while providing long term stability in high reliability applications.

We offer a TCR of ± 2.5 ppm/°C over the range - 55°C to +125°C and resistance tolerances to 0.005%. Our resistors have less than a 0.2% resistance change over 10,000 hours at rated temperatures and power.

The resistor's unique two-wire lead construction abates mechanical stresses and provides increased protection against vibration in military and aerospace applications. All production is documented to QPL standards.
