CEO and founder David Beck of American Distributors LLC announced today the acquisition of DCX (cage code 60118) and NewVac (cage code 63127) divisions from DCX-CHOL Enterprises, Inc. The Chatsworth, CA based value-added AS9100 manufacturing company specializes in producing high-performance cable assemblies, wiring harnesses and interconnect systems for the defense market.  Both companies have been in business for over 30 years supporting the US military and their customers.

New structure
NewVac, LLC is now a wholly owned business unit of ADI American Distributors LLC (a SBA). The company will continue to operate out of its current location of 9330 De Soto Ave. Chatsworth, CA 91311.  Garrett Hoffman, who was the GM/VP for DCX will continue as the VP/General Manager of the new entity. “The remaining NewVac management team will remain active in both the day-to-day running of the company as well as strategic planning,” stated Michael J. McGuire, EVP ADI American Distributors, LLC.  “The new combination of ADI and its companies along with the addition of NewVac LLC will bring additional value to customers and will enhance new opportunities for our supply chain partners,” he added. In addition, NewVac, LLC will have access to all of the ADI family of capabilities, including strong financial resources and a well-established logistical infrastructure.

FilConn Side Mount Mil Spec Connectors

FilConn has developed a unique side mount connector receptacle design. The photo below shows a size 25 38999 Series III connector with the side mount technology incorporated.

This mounting design was developed in concert with several customers who had a need for a connector but did not have the luxury of a bulkhead panel to provide the typical flange or jam nut mounting.

This application can be developed as a connector adapter with a receptacle interface on one end and a plug interface on the other. FilConn can also provide a receptacle interface and solder cup terminations for typical wire harness attachment. The mil spec compliant mating interface can be tailored to the customers needs with any shell size and insert arrangement required. Also, FilConn's standard filtering and TVS protection can be applied to this product as well.

Description

 

The sensors are built with a NC and NO contact. There is no pre-travel of the pin plunger to open the NC contact.
The NO closes after a customized length of travel between 0.3 mm to 1.5 mm.
